We have contracted with the Resort and reserved a large block of rooms so that our guests can book at a SIGNIFICANT discount! Booking your room with our travel agent will save you anywhere from $300-$1000 depending on your reservation. In order to have our wedding at the resort, we do have to have a certain number of rooms booked.

Sarah and Scott have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for their group. They have signed a group contract with the resort committing to a minimum number of rooms that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests. Only rooms booked in the room block through EverAfter Travel count towards this contract.

There are several reasons why you should honor the wedding couple’s wishes and book your stay through the room block with EverAfter Travel:

• The wedding couple has worked with EverAfter Travel to negotiate a contract for the group. This includes a special set rate and includes transportation.

• Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment if you book separately.

• Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you’re likely getting a room that couldn’t be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, probably in an undesirable location away from everyone else.

• Groups are given priority in terms of an oversold situation. If the resort over sells, your group is protected but an individual reservation is not and you could be “walked” or bumped to a different resort.

• You will be included in the head count for all wedding events and activities.

• The resort only counts guests who book their room in the room block towards the group benefits that the wedding couple can receive.

Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately:

• Will not get the group rates.

• Will have to pay up front versus over time.

• Will not receive any pre-departure trip support from EverAfter Travel.

• Unfortunately EverAfter Travel cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group or assist in the event of an emergency.

• May be required by the resort to pay an event fee and/or day pass to attend wedding events.

In order to access (and stay at) Secrets, you must be 18 years of age.

•  2 Queen beds
  • 3 Adults (Ages 13+) + 1 Kid (Ages 2-12)
• 1 King bed
  • 2 Adults (Ages 13+) 

Family Suites:

4 Adults (Ages 13+) + 3 Kids (2-12)

All rooms must be booked with at least one Adult age 18+

Absolutely! Aprox. 2 months prior to the wedding, we will send out formal invitations which will include the number of guests we have allotted for you to attend the wedding ceremony and reception. 

A: YES! Adults over 18 who book a “Dreams Preferred” room, will have access to the Preferred Club rooftop area with infinity pools and Sky Bar at Secrets. However, to get the full benefits of Secrets you’ll need to buy an additional pass upon arrival. 

FYI, they are VERY strict about this access.

If you choose not to book a Preferred Club room, you will still hve amazing access to pools, incredible restuarants, beverages, and many other amenities. 

We will arrive at the resort on Thursday, January 16th and depart on Tuesday, January 21st. We anticipate most guests will arrive on Thursday and depart Monday, January 20th. We highly reccomend staying at least 4 nights!

Beach Cocktail Wedding Attire

Beach cocktail attire is semi-formal beach wedding attire. Typically, men’s ties are optional, but still welcome. If you’re shopping for menswear, start with a classic long-sleeve button-down and dressy pants; then, add a colorful blazer or patterned sport coat for festivity. Appropriate footwear includes nice loafers and on-theme boat shoes. Women can wear a semi-formal dress, like a maxi or midi, as well as a jumpsuit or dressy separates. A beach cocktail dress code gives you the flexibility to choose a vibrant color or bold print. Finish your outfit with a low heel, wedge or dressy flats. Beachy accessories, like a raffia clutch, are also acceptable.

YAY! One of the things we are MOST excited about for our wedding is for all the people we love most to meet!! After August 14th, the resort cannot guarantee availability. However, subject to availablity it is possible to add guests to a reservation by November 7th, 2024 at the latest. 

Your room is non-refundable/non-transferrable after August 14th.

However our travel agent highly reccomends purchasing travel insurance.

Optional travel insurance is available and EverAfter Travel encourages travelers to consider purchasing insurance as it can not only cover things like trip delays/cancellations, but it can also provide medical coverage while you’re traveling just in case something happens – this is very important because your own medical insurance typically does not include international coverage.

*IMPORTANT things to keep in mind about Allianz Travel Insurance:

-You can call and speak to one of the insurance agent experts directly if you have any policy questions at 1.855.524.3687

-Insurance coverage starts the day after it is purchased

-You can only add Cancel Anytime coverage WITHIN 14 days of first deposit

-Coverage for pre-existing conditions only applies if insurance is purchased WITHIN 14 days of first deposit

-You need to update your insurance coverage immediately for any trip components added at a later date that you want covered e.g. flights

-There are several policy types to choose from and the policy price is determined by the following: the amount of insurance you need (i.e. total cost of your trip), your age(s) and the specific policy type you choose 

Your room booking INCLUDES transportation to and from the aiport and the resort! When you book your flights you will give that information to Jodi and she will arrange your transportation! 

After you exit the airport, she will give you instructions on how to find the transporttion service and what to look for. It will be VERY easy! 

All prices are PER PERSON based on the number of nights (not per room!)–please keep that in mind.

For example, a Secrets Junior Suite Tropical View with double occupancy (2 people staying in the room) for three nights is $911 per person. That means for 2 people, 3 nights the rate is $1822.

This includes:

• Your transportation to/from the airport to the resort
• ALL food, snacks, restuarants, beverages, alcohol (top shelf), and tips
• Your room
• Any other amenities provided by the hotel

It truly is an ALL INCLUSIVE experience! The only other thing you will need to pay for are your flights and passports!
